Hardy plant with medium growth. It prefers both full sunlight and half-shade. This plant is suitable for small gardens, for cultivation in pots, and for creating shrubland and woods (several varieties together), for creating clipped hedges and for large avenues and squares. It adapts to all types of soil but performs best in those that are sufficiently fresh, not overly dry; it also tolerates moderately calcareous soils. It withstands any pruning and forms beautiful compact hedges. It is certainly one of the plants that best adapts to living in containers of any size.
